My Boy at 4 months

Wearing his new overalls from Grandma and Grandpa
It is beginning! I can't turn my back for a second. Yesterday I went to Sonic and Jackson thought I didn't need my vanilla diet coke so he knocked it off the counter. (I put him in his bumbo chair next to me while I wash dishes and he watches usually)

Where we going grandpa?
Everything he can get his hands on goes in the mouth

Jackson loves to hear his Uncle Brian sing, it stops him in his tracks
Loves the mirror too
We have his appointment on Thursday for his 4 month shots :(
Jeremy is doing fine out in Virginia. I think he is ready for us to get out there. His school hours are 2-10 though, and he still has to do PT at 6 every morning so he isn't a fan of the schedule. I think we are going out in a couple of weeks.

Silly Boy!

He wishes so badly that he could get that foot to his mouth!
My Chloe girl is still spoiled but jealous of her baby brother a lot of times. As long as she can be near us she is ok though.
Going riding with grandpa, need my shades its bright out here!

Big brother Barney has been great! He rebels a little bit from time to time too, but nothing big. He lets us know when he is lacking in the attention department.

Summer Fun

These are obviously not in order and very mixed up, but all I have time for!

At the lagoon in Waikiki the day before we left

Got my sunblock on, ready to go!
Watching airplanes

With Papaw Louis on the 4th
Daddy's First Father's Day at Cholo's in Hawaii

With his grandpa (Jeremy's Dad I'm not sure what he wants to be called, Peepaw maybe?)

After swimming

In our hotel
All that was left after the movers came

Front yard at the side

He loves sleeping like this

First time to see fireworks 07/04/09

Jeremy drove to Virginia yesterday and made it just fine. He has a huge room at the Ramada Inn that the army put him in. We didn't know he was staying at a nice hotel off post or we would have gone with him. We are still heading out there though. Now that we know he has room for us we are going to go see the state and Jackson's daddy! Our car came in the day he left of course, so I'm going to Dallas Wednesday to get it. I'm already ready to head to the East Coast! We are enjoying being home though. Thats all I have time for right now!

Home Sweet Home for Now!

We are here in Arkansas staying BUSY, really really busy! Of course I have still been taking pictures and as soon as our bathroom is finished (massive remodel, thanks water damage)and things are back in order then I'll get some pics up. We are celebrating our anniversary Tuesday and also have to make a trip to Dallas to get the car if it comes in before the 15th. Fun! I hope everyone had a great 4th, we did! See you soon.

I had some really cute pics to post but Jeremy already packed his SD card reader into our 100 pound 3rd piece of checked luggage (not counting the stroller) so I'll have to wait. Arkansas here we come! Get ready because I have some hotel pictures and some of Jackson in the Ocean :) We went to a lagoon at Waikiki today! Things are great we are packed and ready. Slow Internet but better than none at all. See you soon and Mahalo!

Suddenly I would like to leave today please

Gates: US puts more missile defense around Hawaii

WASHINGTON – The United States has positioned more missile defenses around Hawaii as a precaution against a possible North Korean launch across the Pacific, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday. "We do have some concerns if they were to launch a missile to the west in the direction of Hawaii," Gates said.

Gates told reporters at the Pentagon he has sent the military's ground-based mobile missile system to Hawaii, and positioned a radar system nearby. Together the systems theoretically could detect and shoot down a North Korean missile if it came to that.

"Without telegraphing what we will do, I would just say ... we are in a good position, should it become necessary, to protect Americans and American territory," Gates said.

A Japanese newspaper reported Thursday that North Korea might fire its most advanced ballistic missile toward Hawaii around the Fourth of July holiday.

A new missile launch — though not expected to reach U.S. territory — would be a brazen slap in the face of the international community, which punished North Korea with new U.N. sanctions for conducting a second nuclear test on May 25 in defiance of a U.N. ban.

North Korea spurned the U.N. Security Council resolution with threats of war and pledges to expand its nuclear bomb-making program.

The missile now being readied in the North is believed to be a Taepodong-2 with a range of up to 4,000 miles (6,500 kilometers), and would be launched from North Korea's Dongchang-ni site on the northwestern coast sometime around July 4, Independence Day in U.S., the Yomiuri newspaper said.

It cited an analysis by Japan's Defense Ministry and intelligence gathered by U.S. reconnaissance satellites.--------------------------------------------

While I don't think this is going to happen, this makes me a little claustrophobic out here. I'm sure you understand, I hate this missle stuff.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

His cake had Happy birthday Jeremy written around the edges

Happy baby!

We are ready for the movers! Today was Jeremy's birthday, and although we had a yum Cold Stone Creamery Cake, the rest of the day was steady packing our 5 checked items and 3 carry ons :( How are 2 people supposed to get all that through the airport? With a stroller carseat and baby? I guess we will see. Jackson slept the entire time we were packing! I may regret it later tonight but it really helped us get things done. I think he slept from 5-11, which is when Jeremy woke him up to feed him. For dinner tonight I was pulling things out of the refrigerator trying to use everything up that I could haha! I made a strange pasta...I told Jeremy to hurry up and eat it while it was hot because once it cooled off it was probably indigestible :). It wasn't that bad.

Here is our sweet baby sleeping with his puppy while we packed

Pretty sky the other night from our back yard. Our living room looked pink and it was really pink outside. So pretty!
My 12 week old! I had 2 ladies at the PX the other day that were shocked that he was only almost 3 months old. One woman approache me about a play date for her 9 month old because she saw Jackson in his stroller and thought they were about the same age. He still weighs 15 lbs and is 23.3 inches long (I think). The way he stands and balances you would think he was older!
He loves holding his animals while he sleeps
