My little cowboy decided the other day that he needed rekindle his friendship with his pony. It's cute to me that as he changes and develops, he rediscovers his toys in different ways.
Well we had another whirlwind trip to Arkansas since I last blogged, which included some yard work
My cousin's wedding!
Some country fun down at Dorey's restaurant. One of our favorite places to go while home.
Nope, he isn't peeing on some ducks from the bridge |
Jack's first time bowling
We attended Landen's second birthday party at Jeremy's grandparents' house. Landen is Jackson's cousin :) The one in the red shorts is Landen, Logan is in the jeans, and Jackson is in Aunt Cindy's lap. He was helping...
Some of the guys in the kitchen talking
The whole next generation of boys (so far) with Papaw Louis |
I always like the sunsets from their house. The Little Rock airport is really close by, so you can see the planes landing too. |
More yard work |
I think Jackson is going to have to get a job so he can start buying gas for Grandpa's lawn mower. They mow ALL the time!
Me and Jeremy got to get away to Tunica for a couple of nights. We had so much fun! I love staying more than one night there, because time goes by so fast and you don't have to check out early the next morning.
Can't see |
That's better |
In the rocking chairs out front of the museum, waiting on the boat |
Fitzgerald's Casino from the river |
I was too cheap to buy the photo in a folder ($18!) So I took a photo of the photo. Jeremy's expression cracks me up in this. |
Jack got some fishing in during family day on Saturday |
Jeremy and Charlie entertained themselves and had fun laughing at everyone :) |
Family and friend time at Cotham's. (Jeremy's Uncle's restaurant) Jack loved the catfish! |
After we settled in back in Alabama, we went on a really fun safari. We all had a really good time. There was a walk through part and a drive through part. We planned on going to Barnes and Noble afterwards, but we were covered in red dirt and slobber!
Nothing more to report after the safari! We have been doing the usual thing around here. Spending lots of time outside, blowing bubbles, cooking, couponing and watching the Razorbacks win against Texas A & M :) Hopefully tomorrow will be an awesome game against Auburn! That game is a big deal for us since we live at Auburn practically and we have to see Auburn stuff all the time!
Jeremy has a 4 day weekend this weekend, so we plan on taking Jackson to Monkey Joe's later today. Since he has gotten so rough and rowdy here lately, we are hoping he likes the inflatables more this time around.
