So much going on!

This was at my shower last Saturday. Thank you again to everyone that came and to my great Aunts and grandma for putting it together for me! I don't have many pics unfortunately.

Some of the gals in our family :)

Okay, I'm going back to last Monday when we went to Texarkana to record Brian's first all original C.D. That was the longest day ever! His music sounded great. The producer liked every song.

Next was Kareem's Birthday on February 10th. His cake was so good! Happy Birthday Kareem!

These are my pink roses from Jeremy on Valentine's Day
A tribute to Allie Alero

May 1999-February 2008

This car got me through High School and College, and I will miss her so much!!
Hugs :(

And here is the new baby.....I haven't decided on a name yet.

It is a 2008 Tahoe LTZ, we've had our eyes on these things forever.

Just to answer a couple of questions:

--No the gas mileage isn't as bad as you would think because it has a flex fuel engine. When you are driving and not using all 8 cylinders, it shuts down to 4 and gets great gas mileage. Yesterday on the interstate we were getting between 22 and 30 MPG. On top of that if/when the ethanol gets to Arkansas, the engine is compatible with that too. There are already some states offering it as fuel and it is only 99 cents a gallon or so.

--Insurance is not bad at all

--I'm still getting used to the size, it is a big step up from my car!

Next came grandpa's birthday. Grandma made him his favorite coconut cake and we ate at Mimi's for lunch. Happy birthday grandpa!!

That should catch everything up to date! Jeremy is doing good out there. Nothing new is going on with him really. We still have no news on when he gets to come home.

This is how long Chloe has gotten!

Please pray for Jeremy's Grandpa (papaw Louis) McNair. He had a shoulder operation a couple of days ago and had some complications the night of the surgery and returned back to the hospital. He has pneumonia, but they are working on making him better! I'm recovering again from the flu but doing better...I made a mental note to definitely get a flu shot next year. Brian took this picture. Barney is down at my feet and Chloe stayed right where you see her until I got up and felt better. They were "taking care of me"
This weekend my family gave us a shower (since things have calmed down) and we now have everything we need. Thanks to everyone that came! I will have pictures posted as soon as I get them from grandma. Tomorrow we are going to Texarkana to record Brian's new demo C.D., so we will be gone all day. I wonder if he and Chloe could make it as a team?
---Don't forget to silence the music at the bottom of the page so you can hear---

We were bored and couldn't sleep ok?

Jeremy is still doing good out in the field. He is going to be a little more mobile for awhile, they need him at alternate posts. I'm hoping this will make time go by faster for him, and that they are safe. No doubt it will get interesting for him, I just worry about the travel between posts. As much as I hate to fly, if there were a way for me to visit him out there I would do it in a second. February is the shortest month of the year, yet it is dragging by so slowly. Come on summer time!
We are still working very hard doing taxes for everyone. Last week I had almost 50 hours and that was in 3 and a half days since I was sick the rest of the time. My car also went out this week, it was so loud! It was a bearing or something like that next to the air compressor. Anyway it is fixed and for sale! Time for a new one.

My flowers from Erin! Thank you so much I was not expecting flowers this Valentine's Day at all! Usually I wouldn't be home, but we worked til 2:30 this morning so I was still waking up when the lady from the flower shop came. I love them, they're beautiful!!!!
Thank You Erin and Dave!!
Erin and Dave are mine and Jeremy's friends from Hawaii, now living in Springfield Missouri. They have a little boy named Kevin. Dave was also in the army in Hawaii. They got to the island at the same time and everything. Here they are at our wedding!

And this is Doug with Kevin below. Doug was another one of Jeremy's really good friends and our roommate!
Here is little miss Chloe this morning. She sits there and talks to the door when she is ready to come in. So cute!
She played hard this morning and is inseperable from her toy. It goes out and comes in with her.
