First day on the job

Yesterday was Jackson's first day as a hard working citizen. He went to work with daddy after lunch! Jeremy decided that he wanted to give me the afternoon off already! :) so I got to go get a pedicure and shop a little bit while the guys went to work. He sooo could have saved that surprise for Mother's day, but he didn't and I'm not complaining! I don't think they worked either of them too hard. I kind of wish I could have been there to see the soldiers baby talking to him. Jeremy said it was pretty funny. One even asked if he could sniff Jackson's head because he missed the baby smell haha!

Hardly working
When I picked them up we had to go to Target and the NEX for groceries, so we ate dinner at the NEX. The ceiling and walls are decorated like under water, and Jack kept staring at the big whale on the ceiling.

I did miss them the little time I was away. I am adjusting slowly to being a stay at home mom/housewife/whatever. I don't feel very domestic at all. I'm just being honest here. I do try to keep things clean and orderly, but as far as cooking up crazy stuff and being crafty I just don't know. Plus we only have one car out here, so I think knowing that I can't leave the house (unless we plan ahead and I take Jeremy to work) gets to me sometimes. I love our little life though! I am very happy don't get me wrong. Our house is located in a valley near Jeremy's post and it is so pretty down here. These flowers are in our front yard.

I am beginning to wonder about my sanity though. We left our patio door open while we were gone yesterday (accidentally) and I swore that someone came in and stole our coffee filters. I was convinced that someone came in our back door and took them. Jeremy brought them downstairs earlier this morning though, somehow they made it up to our bathroom on top of my makeup bag. What?! Who knows....

You may be wondering about this guy

He is adjusting just fine :)
I'm starting from where I left off awhile ago....captions are for the pics above them...Our Family Easter Photo :) Jackson slept almost the whole time at my family's get together
Some of my family
4 Generations
Jeremy's Mamaw Louis and Aunt Janie talking to Jackson. He was very alert by the time we got to Little Rock for Jeremy's side.

Jackson had to go see Papaw Louis. He was laying down from recent surgery.
Then a couple of days later my dad and Angie made it to town. He is working in Saudi Arabia so he traveled a long way! Here he is meeting and feeding Jackson.
We ate with them at Boston's in their hotel that night.
Then on that Friday Brian had his CD release party at Off Center in Little Rock
A day or 2 before we left we went to see my Mamaw Shoptaw. Jackson is her only great great grandchild

Our 5 Generation Picture

Jackson and Logan, his first cousin (Jeremy's brother's son)
Now Jeremy's 4 Generations of males

Jackson's gift he held onto from Papaw Louis, he says thank you very much.
Finally he is awake and never wants to sleep again!
I miss my baby girl so much, it was hard to leave her :( People out here in our neighborhood are always walking their dogs and it makes me miss ours.
Big brother before we left.
His last night in his bassinet (thanks Aunt Rachel!)
Where's Jackson now? George Bush Intercontinental, Houston TX
Daddy where we going?
I was worried about the flight and I shouldn't have been at all. He slept almost the entire time on both flights! He did wake up to eat 4 times, but went right back to sleep.
He was such a good boy, the man sitting next to me asked if we had given him some Arkansas moonshine to knock him out.
8 hour flight and it was pretty much perfect. I wasn't even nervous either (big deal for me because I used to hate flying)

In my lap, totally relaxed!
He flew in on his one month birthday.
Daddy's first day going back to work
He didn't stay long that day :)
Jet lagged
Lunch break
He hated this swing, we took it back
This boy is growing so fast!

He loves looking out the window

Getting so long!
Happy boy with mommy, he just woke up :)

First bath in his new bathtub!
He loves it haha!

Until he has to get out, then he is not happy

Sunday afternoon nap
Eyes are dark, but still blue

He loves sleeping in the new bed

Look at that hair

Well that somewhat catches me up with the pictures. I will have plenty more of the house and the island and more details about everything going on with us very soon, I just wanted to get these posted first.
