Jackson's First Christmas and Let it Snow!

I am finally updating now that things have calmed down temporarily around here. Jackson's first Christmas was great! While we were home he started walking really well, and by the time we got back to Kentucky he was walking like a pro! He did great opening his gifts too. Loved the wrapping paper! Our time home went by way too fast, as it usually does. We decided to try to take a day trip back to Kentucky instead of over night like we always do. It didn't go so well. The Liberty bowl was going on in Memphis that day and we were stuck in all the Razorback traffic! We kind of knew that was going to happen but we were hopeful. Once we got through Memphis there was no traffic at all so we were good. We stopped in at Brian's in Nashville and went to dinner with him and Ashley. Finally at about 11:30 we rolled into our driveway, raised the garage door and realized that someone went Christmas shopping in our house while we were gone. The door that lead into our house from the garage was standing wide open and I immediately felt sick. Luckily they left our furniture and couldn't figure out a way to unhook our desktop computer (they tried really hard though). All our other electronics were gone though, along with Jeremy's guns. They took several cameras, PSP, laptop, Flat screen, blue ray, etc. I was pretty upset and it still makes me really mad to think about. Anyway, we have learned a lot from it all and we have decided to move on post so we feel safer. This neighborhood is nice and quiet and now that I have met the neighbors I really like them....so it was a hard decision.

Here are some (about 5%) of our holiday pictures!

Dad got him this Winnie the Pooh hat, the only one he will leave on his head!
He LOVES this commercial and dances to it. I wonder who is watching that tv now? :(
Grandpa pulled him around in the wagon once we got to Sheridan
I think Jeremy and I got a little carried away making cake balls. We wanted enough to give to everyone!
Jackson's first time to open a Christmas present
Trying out Grandma's dressing for the first time
Christmas Eve at Grandma's house. Me, Jeremy, Ashley, and Brian

My family gets together at the rec center so that we have plenty of room and a basketball court! Christmas morning
Best Christmas ever thanks to Jackson

Running around acting like a baby dinosaur
He had the hang of things by the time we went to Jeremy's family Christmas
He loves cousin Adam

Meeting his cousin Nathan for the first time(below) (Uncle Samuel, Jeremy, and Mimi in the background)
We went up to Greenbrier to see Linda (Jeremy's mom) Mike (stepdad) and Michael (brother).

Michael, Jackson, Logan (Eric's son), and Jeremy

Jack really likes his Uncle Michael!

First time having his own spaghetti!
I don't know why, but the silly boy kept posing like this!
Grandma and Grandpa came up to stay with us while we got things back in order from the robbery, packed to move, and unpacked from the trip! I didn't want to be here alone at first while Jeremy had to work.

Running from Grandpa...he always makes this face when he is running hard!

We got some snow! 3 days straight it snowed here and it was so pretty. We had the fire going most of the time and Jackson loved watching the snow fall.

Grandma outside showing him how fun it can be to play in the snow :) Action shot below of the snowball hitting the window. Even Chloe was watching.
Out front
We let him sit in the snow for a minute and he wasn't too fond of it. Plus he has a cold so he could only stay outside for a minute anyway. Poor baby outgrew ALL of his shoes while we were home so I doubled up socks and his house shoes. He is a size 7 shoe now!

Gotta warm up by the fire!
I will miss this neighborhood.

Back of our house at night. I love going outside at night when it snows, everything always looks pink and is sooo peaceful!
First time to try some snow

Today is my birthday! Jeremy surprised me with a cake a couple of days ago because at the time I was planning on leaving with Grandma and Grandpa until we got into our new place.
Jackson had some of mommy's birthday cake
After his bath, check out those chompers!
Snuggling with Winter, his bear from Michael, Mike, and Linda.
26 was my favorite age, all because of this precious little gentleman!

Jackson is getting so big! I can't believe that he is already walking. That is so crazy that someone broke into your house while you was gone, and stole all of that stuff. I don't blame you I would move too. Happy Birthday girl! I am so glad that you, and your family had a wonderful Christmas!
