We love Jackson!

My 38 week belly shot, the night before we went into the hospital.

Now we are all home and happy! I can't believe how much Jackson has changed our lives for the better. You hear people talk about the love they have for their children, but you really never understand until you feel it for yourself. Jeremy and I were talking today about how it has enhanced our relationship too. Our bond is definitely much closer now.
These pictures aren't in the best order.

I love this face :)
Brand new baby boy

After he came home, he loves to eat a lot, nap, repeat!

Back to his birthday.....

Meeting my baby

I love him so much!! I can just look at him and get teary eyed.

Jackson in his bed at the hospital with his Easter Pooh from mom.

He was hot and not too happy about them drawing blood. Poor baby. We go in Tuesday for the opthamologist to probe his tear duct because he was born with a cyst blocking it. I feel so bad for him!

The big weigh in

Jeremy holding Jack, still in the O.R., right after he was born. Jeremy watched the whole thing and didn't feel light headed at all! I'm glad he was there to watch and fill me in later on how everything happened. Ashley was in there too to take pictures and I am so glad. She did a great job of capturing everything. I was so out of it on Friday and Saturday. The C-Section and epidural hurt worse than I expected! It took 4 times for them to get my epidural right.

I was in pain, shock, and love all at the same time. This is when Jeremy brought him over to meet me.

Happy Daddy

Our baby was brand new
He is such a good dad
The dogs are getting used to Jackson being around. Although they are still a little jealous, they are very accepting of him and protective over him.

I have so many more pictures of everyone but it takes me forever to re size them and upload them, so I had to finally quit if I want sleep.
Also, if we have missed your calls I am so sorry! We have every intention of getting back to everyone but the phones are on silent for now. Jeremy returning home + New Baby = In our own world, be back soon!
We are adjusting and loving every minute of being parents. I can't believe how happy this little guy makes us.

And he doesn't have to leave me again!!

I should have updated by now, but I haven't been online! Jeremy is home and we are loving it. The past couple of nights we have been catching up with his family and our dogs. Chloe and Barney have pretty much forgotten that I exist, they only want attention from Jeremy.

My grandma, Jeremy's Papaw Louis, Jeremy, and me at the airport

The big news is that Jackson's birthday is Friday, March 20th at Baptist West Little Rock (2nd floor)! We are going in at 9:30 and my c-section is at 11:30. I wonder how much he will weigh? My dr says I am not dilated at all and with his size we don't need to wait on labor to start. Chances are we would wind up doing a c-section anyway. I am a little nervous about the surgery, but everyone says a scheduled c-section is easy because you don't go through labor. I am going to find out if they have wireless internet at Baptist. If so I will update sometime this weekend. We are staying until Monday. My hands are numb at this point and can be pretty painful off and on. On Monday night (Jeremy's first night home) I actually had some contractions! They kept me up almost all night and ouch I don't like them at all. I think I have lucked out though since those were my first real ones so far.

I am so sorry if we have missed your calls or texts. It has been VERY hard to keep up with, and with company and our weird sleeping schedule we have fallen behind. A lot has happened the past 2 days!

How sweet! Chloe and Ashley taking a nap :)

My Reality Check

My appointment today went well, I guess. I am really wondering how big Jackson is going to be. We are measuring at 43 cm now (43 weeks) and I am only 37 weeks. The doctor said the amniotic fluid was good, but not too much and that the measurement is all baby so it is pretty accurate. What in the world?! I am not dilated at all and although he is low, his head isn't low enough. She thinks that even if we waited it out we would still have to do a c-section. So Monday I am picking Jeremy up at the airport and I have an OB appointment immediately afterwards to check for changes and to set a date for a scheduled c-section. She said either later next week or early the next (so March 19th, 20th, or 23rd) we will have the baby! I don't think we could have planned this any better. I am scared of the surgery but trying not to think about it too much. On the show, a Baby Story, they always act like a c-section is the end of the world so I think I'm going to quit watching. I do like the fact that we can plan the date and be prepared and I don't have to go through labor! I know the recovery time is worse but that is ok, he is a big boy and I agree with the doctor's decision!

Happy Birthday Brian!

We had birthday party for him last night and fixed lots of Mexican food. The theme for the party was off the television show The Office. He loves that show, especially the episode where they throw a birthday party for a girl in the office. They hang balloons with toilet paper and the colors are black, silver, and brown. So that explains our decor :) Ashley had the cake made to look like Brian's electric guitar!

I didn't get many pictures but mom and grandma did I think. Jeremy was calling me and texting me from the furniture store so I was pretty distracted. He did get our bedroom, dining room, and living room furnished though!

I go back to the doctor today, wish me luck!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

March 7th was Grandma's birthday! We went to Bonefish Grill for dinner (so good) and had an ice cream cake at her house. Remember I said we have so many birthdays from January to March! Brian's birthday is today actually. I'll have more pictures tonight.

Chloe wanted to dress nice for the occasion

Brian got a major hair cut!
I'm still "showing" to say the least!! :) 37 weeks. Thanks so much for the outfit Erin! You're right, those pants are so comfortable.
Us at the restaurant, I was having so many weird pains on this night and Jackson was moving like crazy!
Grandma's cake that we tried to do the personalization on haha.
Jeremy is staying in our house out in Hawaii now and driving our car. He feels much better knowing that is all taken care of and he can quit staying on his friend Boyd's couch! Boyd helped him move all that stuff we had in storage. They were moved in about 3 hours.

I go to the doctor tomorrow to see how we are progressing. I'm kind of hoping that nothing has changed yet. I am still ridiculously puffy and my hands are numb from the carpal tunnel that is supposed to go away very soon after Jack arrives. I want him to wait on Jeremy, we are so close!
I can't wait until I can sleep through the night painlessly. My hands HURT. Weird pregnancy symptom right?!
