Our week with the Disselers...

On Sunday night Dave, Erin, Kevin and baby #2 Disseler made it to town! They are our really good friends from Hawaii. Dave was in the army with Jeremy through basic and then they were both stationed in Hawaii. The Disseler's now live in Springfield which is awesome because we are close! Brian, Ashley and I met them at the hotel and then we went to dinner at Chili's. Our server was new so we were there for quite awhile...

On Monday Chloe met her first turtle, and she let everyone know about it! I heard her barking and went out there. I was hoping to see a turtle and not a snake!
That night Dave and Erin came down to Sheridan to see where we live and to eat dinner at Mazzio's with me and Ashley. Afterwards we came home and watched t.v. and stuff.

I don't have any kids toys at my house, but Kevin entertained himself with plenty of other things.
Guess where we went Tuesday.....

It was an absolutely hot day for the zoo, but we had fun! Erin, Kevin and I loaded up and got there at about 1:30. They close at 5 but we had plenty of time. Unfortunately, most of the animals were too hot to come out and show their faces. Some exhibits were under construction too, which was very disappointing. It was so hot that we probably wouldn't have seen everything anyway. We did get to see the tigers, bears, jaguars, apes, monkeys, alligators and reptiles though. The otter(one of my favs) even came out for a quick visit.

On the train!

Taking a break in the cafe, Jeremy called while we were in here.

I don't remember taking this....Erin?? :) This was also in the cafe, probably while I was talking to Jeremy. Good picture!
Wednesday Dave had to do some training til about 4:30, so when he was finished they came down to cookout with the family! We stayed outside until dark. Everything was really good, thank you grandma and grandpa! We love you.

The men hanging out in the dining room (minus Brian and Jeremy!)

We had so much fun this week, too bad they don't live closer!

I got to talk to Jeremy for about an hour today, he is feeling better and doing fine! His birthday is coming up and then he will be home soon. We are both so excited.
