I still am getting an error when I try to upload pics!! I'm sorry.

Jeremy's Cardiologist appointment went okay today(considering he never saw an actual cardiologist) They didn't have him anywhere in the system so he had to meet with a tech and get the EKG machine put on. Apparently his doctors never called over to Tripler to make the appointment, they just assumed the cardiologists could squeeze him in. He has to wear the monitors until tomorrow. Everything is pretty complicated right now out here. I will try to explain the basics:
On Friday, the entire troop had to go through different stations to get cleared to go to Iraq. When Jeremy got to the final station, they marked his paperwork nondeployable, pending cardiologist approval. Since his doctor on post here never made him an appointment at Tripler to see a cardiologist, the earliest they will see him is Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. We are supposed to fly out on Thursday. His deployment ceremony is tomorrow, but I don't get to go to it because I have to take his EKG machine back to Tripler to be turned in first thing in the morning. If they don't let him have leave like we are planning this week, then he won't get any vacation before he deploys. There is only like a 2% chance that they won't let him go to Iraq, so what we are worried about is them not letting him take leave(because of the paperwork not being finished) and then deploying him in December as planned. The army does everything on their time, not the soldier's and their families. Keep your fingers crossed and pray for him please! Theyre leaving in early December. I know all of this is really confusing but its hard to explain. We are still packing and everything, hoping to get to go home( and REALLY hoping he is healthy, but nondeployable if possible). I'm really sad that he won't have anyone at his ceremony tomorrow.

We went to a friend's house last night for a Halloween party. The photo uploader isn't working right now, so tomorrow I should have the pics uploaded. Jeremy has an appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow too so I will update when we get home. Nothing else is going on out here! Its getting pretty cool at night and I can kind of feel fall in the air.

The Yardhouse, Senor Frog's, and Sunday Afternoon

Last night Jeremy, Doug and I headed out to the Yardhouse (a new restaurant in Waikiki) and then to Senor Frogs. We had a great time! I loved the swings at Senor Frogs.
Jeremy did too!
Jeremy and Doug

Today we took an afternoon drive down to the North Shore for Shaved Ice. I had Banana/Cotton Candy/Vanilla. Jeremy had the Surf Special (which is Pineapple/Vanilla/Blue Hawaii) It was a pretty day today. Very nice, low humidity! We went to get groceries when we were finished driving around. Then tonight we made spaghetti and garlic bread.

Today Jeremy came home from work for about an hour and then they called him back in. They always wait to the last minute to get things done, which is after everyone goes home. Once the guys get home, their bosses realize they need them back for something that can usually wait til the next day and call them back in! This is coming from Jeremy because of course I haven't experienced it first hand. I originally took him up there and waited outside in the car. I went to Starbucks, came back and he met me saying that it was going to take awhile so I could go home if I wanted to...so I did. Anyway, our day wasn't exciting. Dinner consisted of raw broccoli and hummus with wheat thins since everything was too hectic to even try to cook.
Tomorrow we are going to play Bingo at Pearl Harbor with our friends April and Bruce. April is from Arkansas and ironically her husband is stationed out here with Jeremy at Schofield. Such a small world! Another coincidence was at our first FRG meeting I recognized the girl sitting in front of me. I thought that she looked like someone from Sheridan. Jeremy found out later that his supervisor married a girl from Grapevine, AR. She went to Sheridan schools!! And that was the girl sitting in front of me at the meeting. I thought that was pretty crazy, all the way out here and I see someone from my town. Anyway, we are going to Pearl Harbor tomorrow night and hopefully I will have some pics to post.

Nothing new really!

Jeremy got another haircut today. We went to Ruby Tuesday's tonight and had the salad bar for dinner. Yesterday was not fun! I woke up got sick and finally slept a little more. Anyway, I'm doing better today. I'm pretty sure it was the flu. We were planning on going to the lagoons but we didn't really leave the house except to get soup. Jeremy had a 4 day weekend so we have been taking it easy. He goes back to work tomorrow and then he has another 4 day weekend this weekend! That's about it for us, nothing exciting!!

Sealife Park: Added Pics of my Dolphin

I swam with the dolphins yesterday! We had a great time. I will post more pictures in a little while of me and the dolphin(our batteries died so I will have to take pictures of the pictures we bought that they took). My dolphin was on the Movie 50 first dates, he's a star!! Sealife was really fun!! We watched sea lions, dolphins, penguins, sea turtles, seals, and tons of other fish. After Sealife Park, we went to Senor Frogs. We got to sit on the lanai. I love that place!! They even gave us a free desert on the house. Everyone was so nice. I think we are going back next weekend. It is such a great atmosphere and really good food. I wish I had the camera, I'll definitely bring the camera next weekend. Here are some pics!
He was showing off for us :)
After the Razorback game I'll post the rest of the pictures!

My Surprise this Morning :)

Jeremy woke me up this morning with these sitting on the night stand. He got up and went to get coffee and orange juice, made me some coffee(which was cold by the time he finally got me to wake up), and took care of some stuff that I was dreading (insurance technicalities, bank card issues, etc). I felt so out of it today so we didn't do much. I've been having flu-like symptoms for the past couple of days. The army said to expect this when the guys got home. Apparently they bring in different germs and things from the desert that can make you sick. Jeremy wasn't feeling that great either so we stayed at home. We did sit outside some though because it was so nice and cool. Perfect weather! Really blue sky, breezy, and sunny. It felt like Spring time back home.

Our 3 Month Anniversary

Jeremy slept so well Friday night and so did I. We woke up at about 7:00 yesterday morning, ate breakfast and just sat on the couch talking and staring at each other for about 2 or 3 hours! We got ready and went to the NEX to get his hair cut. The last time he had a hair cut was before he left for NTC so it had gotten pretty long!

After this we shopped at the NEX for a little while and then went to California Pizza Kitchen in the Ala Moana Mall. We were actually headed to his favorite pizza place in downtown Honolulu (called Magoo's) but they had closed down :(.
We came home last night and watched movies. He is finally winding down a little bit today. Coming home has taken a lot of adjusting for him. We went to Bucca Di Beppo for our 3 month anniversary lunch. It is a GREAT Italian restaurant in Honolulu. We shared a fresh spinach leaf salad (with Balsamic Vinagrette, Tomato, Red Onion, Pecans, and Feta Cheese). Then we had lunch portion lasagna and Chicken, Broccoli, & Pepper Alfredo. We ate half then switched plates. Jeremy even wanted desert ( I didn't mind either!). We had a homemade Italian apple pie with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Needless to say we loved it!! We had enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. It wasn't too expensive either, definitely comparable to the other restaurants in Honolulu.

After we ate we headed over to Best Buy. We wanted to price some video cameras and some kind of new music player. Jeremy wants to take the video camera to Iraq with him so he can send us videos periodically. Also, it will be nice to have when he is home on R&R, etc. There was a rainbow on our way. Even though there are rainbows out here almost daily, I never get used to them!!
He picked this flower for me when we were leaving Best Buy then took it back :)
This is just some of the stuff Jeremy brought in. He has to carry it with him at all times! Ohh the laundry we have to do!! In fact the washer and dryer have been going for several hours now.

I felt so bad earlier because we were playing around and I took off my hoop ear ring and was acting like I was going to put it on Jeremy's nose(like a bull or something). It tickled his nose a little too much and he reached up and hooked himself REALLY HARD on the inside of the nose. It bled and everything. We laughed about it later but I felt really sorry for him. We are always hurting eachother somehow!! Like I said earlier, Jeremy is finally winding down!! He passed out while we were starting to update this page so I had to get up (quietly because he is still very jumpy when he sleeps) and take this picture :)
Right after I sat back down, work called him in. The rest of his troop got home tonight and they have to turn their weapons in to him. He was sleeping good too!! He jumped so big when the phone rang. So now he is leaving to go to work for at least a couple of hours(at 9:30 p.m). Doesn't he look happy?

He's Home!!

Jeremy's Home!! I picked up some Popeye's (per his request) on the way to get him. He wanted chicken strips, macaroni and cheese, and sweet tea. It took about 2 hours to get everything loaded up, saftey brief, etc. We ate supper in the truck while we were waiting on his bags. Now Jeremy's in the shower and I got out the cupcakes and all his other surprises(new clothes, books, and other stuff that I bought him the past 6 weeks). He gets all that stuff next. He is wide awake too, and I'm kinda sleepy...go figure!!
Tire tracks from last night

Mom called to see if I had picked him up yet as I was getting there, so he answered :)

The Final Hours Before Jeremy is Home!!

Jeremy and Doug's Welcome Home Halloween Cupcakes, my decorating level has officially reached that of a 5 year old...Jeremy is the artsy one we will see what he thinks :) So mom made it home and is rested up for Timberfest tonight. Brian plays at 8:00 tonight and at 1:00 tomorrow on the front stage. She is supposed to take some pics for me! Jeremy is in the air right now :) He lands at 2:40 and he is supposed to be at the quad(where he works) at around 5:00 or 6:00. I feel like I didn't sleep at all last night! 3rd brigade has been coming home from Iraq the past couple of weeks first of all, so there has been a lot of loudness on post. I don't blame them for celebrating, and I won't call the military police because they have been through a year and a half of deployments and I hate to get them in trouble already. Anyway, I don't know who it was but all night last night people were driving up and down the street and doing donuts, squealing tires, etc. I was sleeping with the windows open because it is so nice outside and was raining. Every time I would drift off to sleep either the cars would be crazy outside or the neighbors would be stirring around. I think I woke up every fifteen minutes with my heart beating out of my chest!! You know how when you're alone you are more cautious of noises and things plus that's not typical in our neighborhood. I know this weekend will probably be no different but I think Jeremy will probably not listen to it all night. There are obvious tire tracks in the yard and ditch outside too....Earlier last night, to take my mind off things, I made some welcome home Halloween cupcakes before I went over to Freeah's house. Baking really did help me to focus on other things and pass the time. I was on the phone with Jeremy while I was decorating the cupcakes and I kept messing up, but he never asked what I kept getting frustrated with. Anyway, Freeah's husband (Boyd) is a good friend of Jeremy's but he doesn't get home until Sunday. She has had the same problems as I have been having ( anxiety, sleeplessness) and we just talked for a couple of hours. I came home and read my book and started the process of trying to go to sleep. Of course I woke up for the 100th time at around 8:00 this morning and gave up on sleeping. The guys were running up and down the road doing their PT and there was no hope!! Oh well, maybe I'll sleep good tonight. I'm going to get Jeremy in the truck because he has so much stuff to haul home, plus its all sandy from being in the desert. I'm going to try to take some pics tonight of him coming home, getting off the bus, etc. If I don't post them later tonight I will post them tomorrow. Well, I have rambled enough for now I guess!

Mom is on an airplane and No Jeremy til the 5th!!

Well, I took mom to the airport tonight :( Now what?! I did not want her to go, I was hoping the flight would be cancelled or something haha. We went to Matsumoto's today (the world famous snow cone place!!). It was kind of rainy but it was nice still. We both had Hawaiian flavored snow cones. That's a banana/pineapple/coconut combination. We tried some of the beans (that is a Hawaiian thing to put in snow cones). We weren't that crazy about them so we didn't have them on our snow cones. I think they're some kind of Japanese sweet flavored beans that they put on ice cream under the snow cone. Very different!! So, today was a really sleepy day out here. We drove around on the North Shore one last time. We noticed that the waves weren't as big as usual. After our short drive we came home and I helped mom pack. Then we had left-over Bubba Gumps and I made Strawberry Daiquiris...after putting it off as long as possible we headed to the airport. It was so rainy but I'm home now and sad! I found out that Jeremy won't be home til the 5th instead of tomorrow. The army waited too long to get them a plane so they have to wait an extra day. So tomorrow will probably be a long day!! Here are some pics from our last excursion on mom's last day.

In the parking lot, there is a pretty church across the street.
I was straightening mom's hair before we left, see her new hair color?? Pretty!
