Our Rainy Weekend

What do you do when you have big plans to play outside all day and it pours rain? You play anyway!

Jack was kind enough to consider his shark, and bring him out to enjoy the water too.

 We put off our fishing trip until Sunday, which turned out pretty! We were worried because it rained on us while we were driving to the lake, but we went anyway.

Cricket Fascination

I think he was getting grouchy here.

 Jackson and I snuck away for a little shopping in Auburn and left Jeremy to fish alone for a couple of hours. We were hot and Jack needed a nap anyway. While we were gone Jeremy was stung twice by yellowjackets. I am starting to wonder about his luck....

Earlier in the day

 The sun was going down when we got back, and it was a pretty sight.

 As usual, I took tons of pics.

He got to fish with real bait this time!

It looks light here, but this was his final try before we left.

 We really enjoyed the gorgeous night! They close at 8:00 and we shut the place down! We also forgot that they are on central time so actually it was 9:00 at our house. The joys of living on the time zone line!

 We were just happy to be there. Jeremy caught 1 fish....maybe next time he will catch a big one :)

 Tomorrow I will post about another fishy trip that we took yesterday, only this one took place in Atlanta!
